Microbial keratitis after laser in situ keratomileusis
TL;DR: The keratitis heals with scarring and a best spectacle-corrected visual acuity of 20/40 or better can be obtained in the majority of the patients and is a sight-threatening complication of LASIK.

Visual performance of rigid gas permeable contact lenses in patients with corneal opacity.
TL;DR: RGP contact lenses improved the visual acuity and other visual performance in patients with reduced vision due to nebular or nebulo-macular corneal opacity, however, contrast sensitivity, glare acuity, and mesopic vision did not improve to the same extent asvisual acuity.

Oversized corneal grafts for corneal opacities with iridocorneal adhesions.
TL;DR: Corneal grafts oversized by 1 mm provide adequate anterior chamber depth and reduce the risk of peripheral anterior synechiae and secondary glaucoma in patients with corneal opacities and extensive peripheral iridocorneal adhesions.

Results of laser in situ keratomileusis for myopia of -10 to -19 diopters with a Technolas 217 laser.
TL;DR: LASIK was partially effective in the correction of high myopia, and an initial overcorrection may be programmed to offset the effect of refractive regression.
