TL;DR: A new polymer supported Cu(II) Schiff base complex was synthesized in this paper, which was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectrograph (DRS), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) and its homogeneous analogue was also prepared The catalytic performances of the copper complex in oxidation reactions were evaluated for both homogeneous and heterogeneous systems.

TL;DR: In this article, the catalytic activity of an orthometallated complex [Ru(azb)(CO) 2 Cl] 2 (Hazb=azobenzene) anchored to macroporous polystyrene beads was investigated towards the reduction of organic nitrocompounds, alkenes, alkynes, nitriles, Schiff bases, ketones and aldehydes under high pressure, high temperature conditions in mild coordinating media.
