The interest in social media sentiment analysis and opinion mining for public security events has increased over the years. The availability of social media platforms for communication provides a valuable source of information for sentiment analysis and opinion mining research. The content shared across the media gives potential input to the physical environment and social phenomena related to public security threats. The input has been used to: monitor public security threats or emergency events, analyzing sentiment and opinionated data for threat management and the detection of public security threat events using geographic location-based sentiment analysis. However, a systematic survey that describes the trends and latest developments in this domain is unavailable. This paper presents a survey of social media sentiment analysis and opinion mining for public security. This paper aims to: understand the progress of the current state-of-the-art, identify the research gaps, and propose potential future directions. In total, 200 articles published from 2016 to 2023 were considered in this survey. The taxonomy shows the key attributes and limitations of the work presented in the surveyed articles. Subsequently, the potential future direction of work on sentiment analysis in the public security domain is suggested for interested researchers. 

Social media sentiment analysis and opinion mining in public security: Taxonomy, trend analysis, issues and future directions

ABSTRACT Background: Traumatic events can cause social tension, anxiety, panic and other psychological crises, and can even cause post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and suicide. Physical activity has a good role in promoting mental health, and has a great application prospect in individual psychological intervention after traumatic events. However, no systematic review of the relationship between physical activity and individual mental health after traumatic events affecting many people has been published so far, which makes it impossible for people to understand the research status in this field from a holistic perspective. Objective: This review explores the relationship between physical activity and individual psychology, physiology, subjective quality of life and well-being after traumatic events, so as to provide some valuable clues or enlightenment for individual psychological intervention after traumatic events. Method: Relevant literature was searched in five databases, summarised, sorted and studied. Results: Thirty-three study papers were included in this review, the main study findings include: (1) Physical activity is positively correlated with individual mental resilience and subjective well-being after traumatic events, and negatively correlated with anxiety, depression, tension and PTSD. (2) Individuals with higher levels of physical activity have better mental health status after traumatic events than those who do not regularly engage in physical activity. (3) Physical activity can promote sleep quality, self-efficacy, subjective quality of life and various physiological functions of those experiencing traumatic events. (4) Physical activity (including exercise) is regarded as one of the preferred nursing measures to buffer against mental stress and maintain physical and mental health for those experiencing traumatic events. Conclusion: The level of physical activity is positively correlated with individual physical and mental health before and after traumatic events. Physical activity can be used as one of the effective measures to improve individual mental health after traumatic events.

Relationship between physical activity and individual mental health after traumatic events: a systematic review

<h2>Abstract</h2> This study is based on the theory of spatial structure and uses the geographic information system's (GISs) spatial analysis technology to investigate the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of 243 national night cultural and tourism consumption agglomeration zones (NNCTCAZs) in China. Furthermore, this study employs various analytical methods, including the nearest index, geographic concentration index, imbalance index, nuclear density analysis, buffer analysis and geographic detector method. The results reveal that NNCTCAZs exhibit an imbalanced spatial distribution, with a predominant concentration in the east and southwest regions of China. Furthermore, the 'core-edge' structure of this distribution is discernible. The spatial distribution density of NNCTCAZs is uneven, with high-density areas primarily located in the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and Sichuan–Chongqing regions. This distribution pattern exhibits the characteristics of being progressive, that is, strong in the east and west and having small agglomerations with large dispersion. In addition, these areas are mainly concentrated in the central regions of cities and the surrounding areas of popular tourist attractions. The spatial layout of NNCTCAZs is mainly influenced by the level of social development, the tourism industry and regional gross domestic product (GDP), which are considered the core determinants. Furthermore, the development level of traffic conditions plays a crucial role in shaping the spatial layout, whereas the impact of the cultural environment and economic conditions is comparatively less pronounced. 

Exploring the factors and spatial patterns of national night cultural tourism consumption agglomeration zones in China

Food has become a crucial factor in attracting tourists to destinations. Providing tourists with satisfying food experiences has become a significant concern for tourist destinations. This study examines how tourists' food experiences contribute to their subjective well-being. After conducting a questionnaire survey of 360 tourists who experienced Zibo barbecue food, and analyzing the data using structural equation modeling, it was found that: tourists' food sensory experience, service experience, and environmental experience positively affect their satisfaction and subjective well-being; The effect of these experiences on tourists' satisfaction is mediated by tourist attitude; Tourist attitude and satisfaction play a chain mediating role in the effect of sensory experience, service experience, and environmental experience on tourists' subjective well-being. The research findings help to deepen the understanding of the relationship between food tourism experience and subjective well-being, enrich the theoretical research on food experience and tourists' well-being, and have insightful significance for the development and construction of other tourist destinations. 

The effect of food tourism experiences on tourists' subjective well-being

Drawing upon its regional culture, natural landscapes, and architectural features, Beishan Village in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, has forged a distinctive rural development model that combines an industrial park with tourism. While this approach has catalyzed rural progress, it also encounters numerous complex practical challenges. Utilizing the grounded theory method, this study employs participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and network data analysis to investigate the perspectives of three key stakeholder groups: villagers, tourists, and resident merchants. A model is constructed to capture their environmental perceptions of rural tourism. Based on an analysis of network and interview textual data, as well as the influencing factors identified through the theoretical model, this study proposes several optimization strategies. These include enhancing infrastructure development, cultivating a regional brand culture, strengthening the institutional management framework, establishing a rural sharing economy platform, and introducing digital tours. These strategies are designed to refine and enhance Beishan Village's development model, offering insights for similar villages and advancing the integration of beautiful China initiatives with urban and rural development efforts.

Spatial distribution and suitability evaluation of nighttime tourism in Kunming utilizing multi-source data

The occurrence of major health events can have a significant impact on public mood and mental health. In this study, we selected Shanghai during the 2019 novel coronavirus pandemic as a case study and Weibo texts as the data source. The ERNIE pre-training model was used to classify the text data into five emotional categories: gratitude, confidence, sadness, anger, and no emotion. The changes in public sentiment and potential influencing factors were analyzed with the emotional sequence diagram method. We also examined the causal relationship between the epidemic and public sentiment, as well as positive and negative emotions. The study found: (1) public sentiment during the epidemic was primarily affected by public behavior, government behavior, and the severity of the epidemic. (2) From the perspective of time series changes, the changes in public emotions during the epidemic were divided into emotional fermentation, emotional climax, and emotional chaos periods. (3) There was a clear causal relationship between the epidemic and the changes in public emotions, and the impact on negative emotions was greater than that of positive emotions. Additionally, positive emotions had a certain inhibitory effect on negative emotions.
