Potential biomass of Scenedesmus sp. to produce valuable chemical by Bacillus megaterium
Azieyati Hani Hussain,Husnul Azan Tajarudin,Charles Wai Chun Ng,Ramizah Kamaludin,Shakera Jakera,Mahmod Abobaker +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper , several analyses were carried out to determine the chemical profiles and composition of Scenedesmus sp. that hold potential to be used as feedstock in the production of valuable compounds from microbial fermentation.
Isolated microbes from local fermented food of Southeast Asia
Shakera Jakera,Husnul Azan Tajarudin,Charles Wai Chun Ng,Ramizah Kamaludin,Azieyati Hani Hussain,Mahmod Abobaker +5 more
TL;DR: In this article , a serial dilution was used to identify and distinguish every colonies of LAB formed in the MRS media. And the morphology of each bacteria were recorded. But the results showed that the majority of the colonies were found and examined successfully from shrimp paste and soy cake.
Effect of different pH on amylase production from palm oil mill effluent (POME) treatment
Ramizah Kamaludin,Husnul Azan Tajarudin,Charles Wai Chun Ng,Azieyati Hani Hussain,Shakera Jakera,Mahmod Abobaker +5 more
TL;DR: The use of microorganisms in bioremediation have gained great attention, mainly on its enzyme activity as discussed by the authors , and it's important to cultivate the micro organisms in a substrate with suitable pH to support its growth and to control the metabolic mechanism in the cell.
Drying techniques for coating of pelletized fertilizers with sodium alginate and microbial biopolymer
Charles Ng Wai Chun,Husnul Azan Tajarudin,Ramizah Kamaludin,Azieyati Hani Hussain,Shakera Jakera,Mahmod Abobaker +5 more
TL;DR: In this article , experiments were carried out to compare the drying techniques of fertilizers coated with sodium alginate and microbial biopolymer, and the results showed that there was no significant difference on the thicknesses of coating betweenthe technique of overnight drying and brief drying.
