An ultra-pure gas system for the CLOUD experiment at CERN
Roberto Guida,P. Carrie,L.-P. De Menezes,Jonathan Duplissy,F. Fayet,Jasper Kirkby,Serge Mathot,P. Minginette,Antti Onnela,J. Rochez,G. Thomas,A. Wasem,M. Wilhelmsson +12 more
- 01 Oct 2012
TL;DR: The Cosmics Leaving Outdoor Droplets (CLOUD) experiment aims to recreate atmospheric conditions inside a large chamber where the mechanisms for the formation of aerosol and cloud are studied as discussed by the authors.

- 26 Sep 2011
TL;DR: In this article, the first measurements of the optical emission of the Linac4 ion source and of the SPL plasma generator plasmas are presented, which allows direct comparison with the currently commissioned LINAC4 H− ion source plasma.

The new gas injection system for the LINAC4 accelerator at CERN
Roberto Guida,P. Carrie,F. Fayet,S. Izquierdo Rosas,J. Lettry,E. Mahner,J. Rochez,Richard Scrivens,A. Wasem,M. Wilhelmsson +9 more
- 01 Oct 2013
TL;DR: The Linac4 as mentioned in this paper is an H− linear accelerator intended to replace Linac2 as injector into the CERN accelerator complex, it is a machine 90 m long and it will accelerate H− ions up to 160 MeV.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors carried out exploratory measurements of the effect of ionising particle radiation on aerosol formation from trace H2SO4 vapour and provided technical input for the Cosmics Leaving OUtdoor Droplets (CLOUD) experiment, whose aim is to study the possible influence of cosmic rays on clouds.
