Events detection and handling based on hierarchical finite state machines in EAST PCS
TL;DR: In order to enhance the current EAST plasma control system (PCS) events handling ability and explore a new intelligent scheduling mode for China Fusion Engineering Testing Reactor (CFTER) PCS, a new event detection and processing for controlling hot spots of in-vessel components from hot spots is developed, and a simulation experiment is carried out in the closed-loop test environment between PCS and MATLAB/Simulink as mentioned in this paper .

Jitter correction for EAST infrared videos using edge-based phase correlation method
TL;DR: In this paper , a method based on edge detection and phase correlation has been developed for correcting jitter of the IR videos on EAST, which has the advantages of high robustness, none accumulated error and high efficiency.
