Transition to legume-supported farming in Europe through redesigning cropping systems

TL;DR: In this article , the DEED framework was used to describe, explain, explore, and redesign legume-supported cropping systems in nine European countries, and the results of 31 rotation comparisons showed that legume integration decreased N fertilizer use and nitrous oxide emissions (N 2 O) in more than 90% of the comparisons with reductions ranging from 6 to 142 kg N ha −1 and from 1 to 6 kg N 2 O ha−1 , respectively.

The possibility of maize gluten application for weed control in maize and soybean
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of maize gluten on the weeds number and dry biomass in the maize and soybean experiment were evaluated and it was shown that pre-emergence maize gluten application resulted with an effective weed control in maize, whereas the soybean had the significant loss of plants, due to the gluten fitotoxicity.

TL;DR: In this article , the effect of cover crops and interactions on yield and yield components of maize in the semi-arid conditions was determined, and the statistical significance (p<0.05) was found between different variants regarding the use of cover crop.
