Fabrication of thin targets for nuclear reaction studies at IUAC
Tathagata Banerjee,S. R. Abhilash,D. Kabiraj,Sunil Ojha,G.R. Umapathy,M. Shareef,P. V. Laveen,Heena Duggal,R.U. Amarnadh,J. Gehlot,S. Nath,D. Mehta +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a carbon backing thickness of ∼22μg/cm2 was achieved for the targets of refractory metals (193Ir, 187Re, 182W, 181Ta, 175Lu and 169Tm) using: (a) e-gun (for natC backing), (b) resistive heating (for source material deposition) and (c) egun evaporation (fornatC capping) methods successively, without breaking the vacuum.

Deformation effects on sub-barrier fusion cross sections in O 16 + Yb 174 , 176
Tapan Rajbongshi,K. Kalita,S. Nath,J. Gehlot,Tathagata Banerjee,Ish Mukul,Ravindra Dhar Dubey,N. Madhavan,Cheng-Jian Lin,A. Shamlath,P. V. Laveen,M. Shareef,Neeraj Kumar,P. Jisha,Padma Sharma +14 more
TL;DR: In this article, the role of hexadecapole nuclear deformation effect on sub-barrier fusion cross sections was investigated, where the evaporation residue (ER) excitation functions were measured at laboratory beam energies in the range of 64.6-103.6 MeV.

Fission fragment mass distribution studies inSi30+Hf180reaction
A. Shamlath,M. Shareef,E.V. Prasad,P. Sugathan,R. G. Thomas,Akhil Jhingan,S. Appannababu,Avazbek Nasirov,A. M. Vinodkumar,K. M. Varier,C. Yadav,B. R. S. Babu,S. Nath,G. Mohanto,Ish Mukul,Devendra Singh,S. Kailas,S. Kailas +17 more
TL;DR: Fission fragment mass-angle and mass ratio distributions have been measured for the 30Si+−180Hf reaction in the beam energy range 128-148 MeV as mentioned in this paper, which strongly suggest the entrance channel dependence of quasifission in heavy ion collisions.

Nuclear dissipation at high excitation energy and angular momenta in reaction forming 227 Np
M. Shareef,E.V. Prasad,Akhil Jhingan,N. Saneesh,K. S. Golda,A. M. Vinodkumar,Mohit Kumar,A. Shamlath,P. V. Laveen,A. C. Visakh,M. M. Hosamani,S. K. Duggi,P. Sandya Devi,G. N. Jyothi,A. Tejaswi,P. N. Patil,Jhilam Sadhukhan,P. Sugathan,A. Chatterjee,Santanu Kumar Pal +19 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured pre-scission neutron multiplicity values using a statistical model incorporating Krammer's fission width due to the dissipative drag in nuclear fission, shell corrections in fission barrier and level density, collective enhancement of level density and $K$-orientation effect.

Effect of collective enhancement in level density in the fission of pre-actinides
Tathagata Banerjee,S. Nath,Akhil Jhingan,N. Saneesh,Mohit Kumar,Abhishek Yadav,Gurpreet Kaur,Ravindra Dhar Dubey,M. Shareef,P. V. Laveen,A. Shamlath,Md. Moin Shaikh,S. Biswas,J. Gehlot,K. S. Golda,P. Sugathan,Santanu Pal +16 more
TL;DR: In this paper, fission fragment angular distributions for three reactions were measured in the laboratory energy range of 82 -120 MeV, and compared with the predictions of a statistical model which takes into account the effects of shell, orientation degree of freedom, and collective enhancement in level density (CELD).
