Influence of the soil pH in the uptake and bioaccumulation of heavy metals (Fe, Zn, Cu, Pb and Mn) and other elements (Ca, K, Al, Sr and Ba) in vine leaves, Castilla-La Mancha (Spain)
Sandra Bravo,José Angel Amorós,Caridad Pérez-de-los-Reyes,Francisco Jesus Garcia,Marta M. Moreno,M. Sánchez-Ormeño,Pablo Higueras +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the role of pH in the uptake of some mineral elements, including heavy metals, was investigated in vineyard plots in Castilla-La Mancha (Spain).

Iron uptake in vineyard soils and relationships with other elements (Zn, Mn and Ca). The case of Castilla-La Mancha, Central Spain
José Angel Amorós,Sandra Bravo,Caridad Pérez-de-los-Reyes,Francisco Jesús García-Navarro,J.A. Campos,M. Sánchez-Ormeño,Raimundo Jiménez-Ballesta,Pablo Higueras +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, X-ray fluorescence was used to measure both soil and leaf concentrations of mineral elements, and the mean contents of topsoils (A and B horizons) in Ca, Fe, Mn and Zn were compared with leaf contents in these elements.

The influence of depth on the water retention properties of vineyard soils
Caridad Pérez-de-los-Reyes,M. Sánchez-Ormeño,S. Bravo Martín-Consuegra,Jesus Garcia-Pradas,María Luisa Pérez-de-los-Reyes,A. Ramírez,J. A. Amorós Ortiz-Villajos,Francisco Jesús García Navarro,Raimundo Jiménez-Ballesta +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , the relationship between the factors that influence the water retention properties of vineyard soils (bulk density, sand, silt, clay, organic matter and CaCO 3 contents), and their gravimetric moisture at field capacity (FC), permanent wilting point (PWP) and their available water capacity (AWC), were studied in 104 surface horizons and 95 subsurface horizons.
