Microring resonators (MRRs) can be used to generate optical millimetre-wave solitons with a broadband frequency of 40-60 GHz. Non-linear light behaviours within MRRs, such as chaotic signals, can be used to generate logic codes (digital codes). The soliton signals can be multiplexed and modulated with the logic codes using an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technique to transmit the data via a network system. OFDM uses overlapping subcarriers without causing inter-carrier interference. It provides both a high data rate and symbol duration using frequency division multiplexing over multiple subcarriers within one channel. The results show that MRRs support both single-carrier and multi-carrier optical soliton pulses, which can be used in an OFDM based on whether fast Fourier transform or discrete wavelet transform transmission/receiver system. Localised ultra-short soliton pulses within frequencies of 50 and 52 GHz can be seen at the throughput port of the panda system with respect to full-width at half-maximum (FWHM) and free spectrum range of 5 MHz and 2 GHz, respectively. The soliton pulses with FWHMs of 10 MHz could be generated at the drop port. Therefore, transmission of data information can be performed via a communication network using soliton pulse carriers and an OFDM technique.

Transmission of data with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing technique for communication networks using GHz frequency band soliton carrier

Performance of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems using Fast Fourier Transforms (FFT) and Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) are analyzed in this paper. The performance of DWT-OFDM is assessed by various parameters such as BER, eye diagram and constellation diagram. BER is the ratio of the no. of bits with error to the total no. of bits transmitted through the channel. From the Eye diagram, we can find the eye height through which the interference can be calculated. By varying the different wavelets and the different modulation schemes the BER is calculated and the eye diagram and the constellation diagram are plotted with the aid of MATLAB- SIMULINK. In this work, performance of most widely used wavelet based OFDM systems Haar, Daubechies, Biorthogonal, and Reverse Biorthogonal wavelets are studied and wavelet basis suitable for optimum OFDM system is investigated. Bit Error Rate (BER) versus Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) is used as system parameter.

Orthogonal Wavelet Division Multiplexing is a multicarrier technique based on wavelet transform. It is an alternative technique of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing System in wireless communication. Fourier transform and invers Fourier transform of OFDM are exchanged by wavelet transform and inverse wavelet transform. The OWDM Scheme is consists of filter bank decomposition as modulator on transmitter and filter bank reconstruction as demodulator on receiver. The advantages of OWDM system are not only reduces complexity of Fourier Transform on OFDM system but also offers flexibility and optimal resolution. This paper compared two schemes of OWDM system using discrete wavelet transform and packet wavelet transform. The results show that performances of OWDM system based discrete wavelet is better than wavelet packet. However, the sub-band numbers of discrete wavelet cannot be as large as wavelet packets. This is due to the bandwidth divisions on OWDM based discrete wavelet are not same for each level of decomposition and reconstruction process.

In this paper, we propose a new modulation/multiplexing system using wavelet transform. This new modulation technique makes use of the existing standard (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) OFDM system and replacing the Fourier transform blocks by wavelet transform blocks. There are different types of wavelet transforms are available, out of which 4 were chosen. They are Haar, Daubechies4, Biorthogonal and reverse Biorthogonal transforms. The performance of the wavelet based OFDM system using various modulations like BPSK, DPSK, QPSK, DQPSK, OQPSK and 16-QAM was assessed by various parameters such as bit error rate, eye diagram and constellation diagram. The best among all the transforms was concluded to be the haar transform and the best modulation was BPSK. The sample results of all the transforms with bpsk with an SNR of 18db are as shown. The proposed system is named (orthogonal haar wavelet division multiplexing) OHWDM.

In this paper to improve the capacity and coverage of the channel in WCDMA with OFDM, a concatenation of Wideband Code Division Multiple access (WCDMA) and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDM) is used as spreading code. Synchronization error which degrades the OFDM system performance is reduced by implementing Synchronization Algorithm which is used to estimate the offset and by using compensation technique these offsets are reduced which improves the system performance. This concept is implemented in Multi-input Multi-output (MIMO) antenna to boost the capacity of the channel for high data rate transmission.

Though OFDM has many advantages like Spectral efficiency, robust to multipath fading, it is highly sensitive to synchronization error caused by Carrier Frequency Offset (CFO), and Sampling Clock Offset (SCO). For to improve the efficiency of the system Inter Symbol Pilot Aided Synchronization Algorithm is introduced in this paper for estimating the offset. The data is transmitted in Asynchronous Mode of Transmission since it has better than synchronous mode of transmission.

Some of the article has shown that for two cameras stereo triangulation methods to work in practical situations that severe mechanical positioning constraints must placed on pair of cameras. In practice most of the image occupies maximum space based on the absolute value in the space. The distance measurement is proposed which introduce the disparity and depth map. Such a depth map represents valuable, add information that can be leveraged in subsequent steps of the formation of three dimensional videos.
