Dissipative processes and their role in the evolution of radio galaxies
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors review the conditions under which these processes occur and their role both in jet evolution and propagation and energy dissipation, and discuss the role of these processes in the formation of relativistic jets.

Sub-milliarcsecond imaging of a bright flare and ejection event in the extragalactic jet 3C 111
R. Schulz,Matthias Kadler,Eduardo Ros,M. Perucho,Thomas P. Krichbaum,Ivan Agudo,T. Beuchert,Michael Lindqvist,K. Mannheim,Jörn Wilms,J. A. Zensus +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the morphological changes of the parsec-scale jet in the nearby (z=0.049) gamma-ray bright radio galaxy 3C111 following a flare that developed into a major radio outburst in 2007 are studied.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors made use of data obtained with the Global Millimeter VLBI Array (GMVA) which consists of telescopes operated by the MPIfR, IRAM, Onsala, Metsahovi, Yebes and the Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA) under contract with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
Radio source evolution and the interplay with the host galaxy
M. Perucho
- 27 Feb 2019
TL;DR: In this paper, the role of the interaction between galactic atmospheres and the jet head on global FRII jet kinematics, and the mass load by stellar winds or small-scale instabilities on jet deceleration in FRI jets are discussed.
