Acute kidney injury in patients treated with anti-programmed death receptor-1 for advanced melanoma: a real-life study in a single-centre cohort.
Claire Stein,Stéphane Burtey,Julien Mancini,M. Pelletier,Marion Sallée,Philippe Brunet,Philippe Berbis,Jean-Jacques Grob,Stéphane Honoré,C. Gaudy,Noémie Jourde-Chiche +10 more
TL;DR: AKI is common in patients treated with anti-PD1 for advanced melanoma but is mostly prerenal and favoured by the use of RAASi; renal irAE is rare; PPI and corticosteroids were associated with poor survival in this population, while overweight/obesity was protective.

Serum microRNAs are altered in various stages of chronic kidney disease: a preliminary study.
Benjamin Brigant,Valérie Metzinger-Le Meuth,Valérie Metzinger-Le Meuth,Ziad A. Massy,Ziad A. Massy,Nathalie McKay,Sophie Liabeuf,M. Pelletier,Marion Sallée,Eléonore M'Baya-Moutoula,Pascale Paul,Tilman B. Drüeke,Stéphane Burtey,Laurent Metzinger +13 more
TL;DR: This exploratory study suggests that specific miRNAs could be biomarkers for complications of CKD, justifying further studies to link changes of miRNA levels with outcomes in CKD patients.

Indole 3-acetic acid, indoxyl sulfate and paracresyl-sulfate do not influence anemia parameters in hemodialysis patients.
Stanislas Bataille,M. Pelletier,Marion Sallée,Yvon Berland,Nathalie McKay,A. Duval,Stéphanie Gentile,Yosra Mouelhi,Philippe Brunet,Stéphane Burtey +9 more
TL;DR: The correlation between IAA, IS and PCS plasmatic concentrations with hemoglobin and Erythropoietin Stimulating Agents (ESA) use in hemodialysis patients was studied to assess if indole 3-acetic acid, indoxyl sulfate, and paracresyl sulfates are clinically implicated in end-stage renal disease anemia.
Hemodialysis vascular graft as a focus of persistent Q fever.
Vincent Ernest,Serge Cammilleri,Philippe Amabile,Mathilde Fedi,Stéphane Burtey,Clarissa Von Kotze,M. Pelletier,Valérie Moal,Eric Guedj,Cindy Perron,Raafat Boustani,Yvon Berland,Philippe Brunet,Didier Raoult,Pierre-Edouard Fournier,Noémie Jourde-Chiche +15 more
TL;DR: It is reported the second case worldwide of a prosthetic hemodialysis vascular graft infection by Coxiella burnetii, with intense hypermetabolism on PET-CT, Q fever serology consistent with persistent infection, and positive C. burningetii DNA in the blood and removed vascular graft.

L’indole-3-acétique acide, l’indoxyl sulfate et le para-cresyl sulfate ne sont pas corrélés aux marqueurs de l’anémie des patients hémodialysés chroniques
Stanislas Bataille,M. Pelletier,Marion Sallée,Yvon Berland,Nathalie McKay,A. Duval-Sabatier,Stéphanie Gentile,Yosra Mouelhi,Philippe Brunet,Stéphane Burtey +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigate the role of IAA, IS, and PCS in the anemie des patients hemodialyses (HD) by correlating their concentrations plasmatiques with the taux dhemoglobine (Hb) and the besoins en erythropoietine (EPO).
