High-pressure effects on isotropic superconductivity in the iron-free layered pnictide superconductor BaPd 2 As 2
Mahmoud Abdel-Hafiez,Mahmoud Abdel-Hafiez,Y. Zhao,Zhoushen Huang,Chang-woo Cho,Chi Ho Wong,A. Hassen,M. Ohkuma,Yue-Wen Fang,Bo-Jin Pan,Zhuoxiang Ren,A. V. Sadakov,A. S. Usoltsev,V. M. Pudalov,Masaki Mito,Rolf Lortz,Cornelius Krellner,Wenge Yang +17 more
TL;DR: In the absence of iron in the structure, the superconducting properties of the end member of the BaPd family are completely isotropic as demonstrated by the critical fields, which do not depend on the direction of the applied field as discussed by the authors.

Surface-size and shape dependencies of change in chiral soliton number in submillimeter-scale crystals of chiral magnet CrNb3S6
M. Ohkuma,Masaki Mito,Masaki Mito,N. Nakamura,K. Tsuruta,Jun-ichiro Ohe,Misako Shinozaki,Yusuke Kato,Jun-ichiro Kishine,Jun-ichiro Kishine,Jun-ichiro Kishine,Yusuke Kousaka,Yusuke Kousaka,Jun Akimitsu,Katsuya Inoue +14 more
TL;DR: Tsuruta et al. as mentioned in this paper examined the surface size and shape-effects of soliton annihilation and soliton nucleation in chiral magnet CrNb3S6 and found a ferromagnetic type of magnetizing with a convex curve (d2M/dH2 < 0) near zero field (H = 0).

Relationship of magnetic ordering and crystal structure in the lanthanide ferromagnets Gd, Tb, Dy, and Ho at high pressures
Masaki Mito,Yuta Kimura,Kanako Yamakata,M. Ohkuma,Hirotaka Chayamichi,Takayuki Tajiri,Hiroyuki Deguchi,Mamoru Ishizuka +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the pressure dependence of the magnetic ordering temperatures for the lanthanide ferromagnets Gd, Tb, Dy, and Ho in the pressure region up to 18 GPa by two types of magnetic measurements using a superconducting quantum interference device.

Soliton locking phenomenon over finite magnetic field region in the monoaxial chiral magnet CrNb 3 S 6
M. Ohkuma,Masaki Mito,Masaki Mito,Yusuke Kousaka,Yusuke Kousaka,Takayuki Tajiri,Jun Akimitsu,Jun Akimitsu,Jun-ichiro Kishine,Jun-ichiro Kishine,Jun-ichiro Kishine,Katsuya Inoue +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors performed magnetic measurements for a thin single crystal of CrNb3S6 with a thickness 3 μm, permitting the existence of approximately 60 solitons, and observed the magnetization (M)magnetic field (H) curve with a remarkable full M-H loop.

Controlling avalanche soliton nucleation in a chiral soliton lattice on a monoaxial chiral magnet CrNb3S6 by dynamic strain
M. Ohkuma,Masaki Mito,Masaki Mito,Yusuke Kousaka,Yusuke Kousaka,Jun Akimitsu,Jun Akimitsu,Jun-ichiro Kishine,Jun-ichiro Kishine,Jun-ichiro Kishine,Katsuya Inoue +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors applied dynamic strain with scores of MHz to the crystal with the crystal size along the c-axis of 10μm from the edge of the helical axis.
