Intrapartum transperineal ultrasound assessment of fetal head progression in active second stage of labor and mode of delivery.
Tullio Ghi,Aly Youssef,Elisa Maroni,T. Arcangeli,F. De Musso,Federica Bellussi,M. Nanni,F. Giorgetta,Antonio Maria Morselli-Labate,M. T. Iammarino,Alexandro Paccapelo,L. Cariello,Nicola Rizzo,Gianluigi Pilu +13 more
TL;DR: To compare longitudinal changes in angle of progression (AoP) and midline angle (MLA) during the active second stage of labor according to the mode of delivery, a cross-sectional study is conducted at the second trimester of pregnancy.

Variability of Forebrain Commissures in Callosal Agenesis: A Prenatal MR Imaging Study.
Claudia Cesaretti,M. Nanni,Tullio Ghi,Cecilia Parazzini,Giorgio Conte,Elena Contro,Gianpaolo Grisolia,Andrea Righini +7 more
TL;DR: Most fetuses with apparent isolated agenesis of the corpus callosum showed at least 1 forebrain commissure at prenatal MR imaging, and approximately half of fetuses also had a second commissures: a vestigial hippocampal commissur or a hybrid made of a hippocampal Commissure and a rudimentary corpus callOSum body.

Neonatal respiratory morbidity in twins versus singletons after elective prelabor caesarean section
Tullio Ghi,M. Nanni,Luca Pierantoni,Federica Bellussi,Maria Letizia Bacchi Reggiani,Giacomo Faldella,Nicola Rizzo +6 more
TL;DR: The risk of neonatal respiratory morbidity after elective caesarean section seems lower among twins, especially prior to 37+0 weeks, and at multiple regression, dichorionicity, gestational age at delivery ≥37 weeks and female sex independently decreased the risk of Neonatal respiratory mortality.

The hippocampal commissure: a new finding at prenatal 3D ultrasound in fetuses with isolated complete agenesis of the corpus callosum
Elena Contro,M. Nanni,Federica Bellussi,Ginevra Salsi,Gianpaolo Grisolia,Magdalena Sanz-Cortes,Andrea Righini,Nicola Rizzo,Gianluigi Pilu,Tullio Ghi,Tullio Ghi +10 more
TL;DR: The aim of this research was to determine the prevalence and sonographic appearance of the hippocampal commissure in fetuses with isolated complete agenesis of the corpus callosum by three‐dimensional neurosonography in the multiplanar mode.

Prenatal and Postnatal Imaging of Multiple Intracranial Lipomas: Report of a Case
M. Nanni,Federica Bellussi,Aly Youssef,T. Arcangeli,Elisa Maroni,F. De Musso,Barbara Vasapollo,Herbert Valensise,Lucia Manganaro,Lucia Masini,Gianluigi Pilu,Nicola Rizzo,Tullio Ghi +12 more
TL;DR: Multiple intracranial lipomas in a fetus with absent corpus callosum have been infrequently described and prognostic implications remain uncertain.
