Study of Bound Water of Poly-Adenine Using High Frequency Dielectric Measurements
TL;DR: The high frequency dielectric constant of poly-adenine (poly-A) was measured to investigate the state of water molecules that are bound to the charged groups of the poly-A molecule and it was found that charged sites of polyions have only short range interactions with the surrounding water molecules.

An Adaptive Momentum Back Propagation (AMBP)
TL;DR: An algorithm for fast minimum search is proposed, which achieves very satisfying performance harmonising the Vogl's and the Conjugate Gradient algorithms, as confirmed both by subjective musical evaluations and by objective tests.

Neural network for automatic anomalous QRS complex detection
A. Casaleggio,M. Morando,Sandro Ridella +2 more
- 23 Sep 1990
TL;DR: An application of the back-propagation (BP) neural network (NN) for the discrimination between normal and pathological electrocardiogram (ECG) complexes is presented.

Study of the correlation dimension of ECG signals based on MIT-BIH Arrhythmia Data Base ECGs
A. Casaleggio,M. Morando,S. Pestelli,S. Ridella +3 more
- 19 Sep 1989
TL;DR: There has not been enough evidence of significant differences between sick and normal subjects, and thus it is necessary to increase the number of analyzed cases, and to obtain a good saturation of the correlation dimension.

An Integrated Approach to the Well-Being of the Elderly People at Home
Giovanna Morgavi,Roberto Nerino,Lucia Marconi,Paola Cutugno,Claudia Ferraris,Alessandra Cinini,M. Morando +6 more
- 01 Jan 2015
TL;DR: The outline and the preliminary developments of NINFA (iNtelligent Integrated Network For Aged people) are presented, a project for the well-being of the elderly people at home based on a service platform suited for elder people called the Virtual Village Network.
