Cluster of cases of clinical cholera due to Vibrio cholerae 010 in east Delhi.
TL;DR: A total of 514 samples of acute diarrhoeal stools received over a period of four months yielded 315 isolates morphologically and biochemically resembling V cholerae as discussed by the authors.

Simple and economical method for speciation and resistotyping of clinically significant coagulase negative staphylococci.
TL;DR: An attempt was made to speciate 102 clinically significant isolates of coagulase negative staphylococci by a practical scheme adapted from various references, showing maximum resistance to ampicillin followed by cefotaxime with no resistance to vancomycin.

Detection of clindamycin susceptibility in macrolide resistant phenotypes of Staphylococcus aureus.
TL;DR: The detailed result analysis suggests the possible role of clindamycin in treatment of some of the erythromycin resistant isolates (non inducible), as there are multiplicity of resistance mechanisms and diversity of phenotypic expressions.

Evaluation of the polymerase chain reaction analysis for diagnosis of falciparum malaria in Delhi, India
S Nandwani,M Mathur,S Rawat +2 more
TL;DR: Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analysis can be used to supplement the conventional Giemsa staining for reliable diagnosis of falciparum malaria especially in cases with low parasitaemia.
