Temperature effects on the tensile properties of cast and heat treated aluminum alloy A319
TL;DR: In this paper, the tensile properties and ductility of an Al-A319 alloy were investigated as a function of temperature and heat treatment, and it was found that the alloy tensile strength was improved by heat treating from 195 MPa in the as-cast condition to 305 MPa for the T7 condition.

Wear resistance of Cu–Ni–Mo austempered ductile iron
TL;DR: In this article, a series of ductile iron samples alloyed with 0.66% Cu, 1.02% Ni, and 0.26% Mo were austempered at 315 and 370°C for 5-240 min and then tested for wear strength.

Development of Austenitic Nanostructures in High-Nitrogen Steel Powders Processed by Mechanical Alloying
TL;DR: In this paper, a mechanical alloying was employed in producing high-nitrogen Fe18Cr11Mn stainles-steel powders and it was found that the nitrogen solubility increases exponentially with milling time at room temperature.

Structure of a Fe-Cr-Mn-Mo-N Alloy Processed by Mechanical Alloying
TL;DR: In this paper, the as-milled powders were then annealed under vacuum at either 1173 or 1473 K to promote the formation of the resultant equilibrium phases.

Simulation of thermal analysis applied to the description of the solidification of hypereutectic SG irons
TL;DR: The use of thermal analysis is widely used in foundry to control melt preparation of cast irons and its great versatility explains that many attempts have been made in the past to use it not only for controlling...
