Synergistic co-administration of docetaxel and curcumin to chemoresistant cancer cells using PEGylated and RIPL peptide-conjugated nanostructured lipid carriers
Chang Hyun Kim,Byoung Deok Kim,Taek Lee,H. Kim,M. Lyu,Young-In Yoon,Yoon Tae Goo,Myung Joo Kang,Sangkil Lee,Young Wook Choi +9 more
TL;DR: A targeted co-administration system of docetaxel (DTX) and curcumin (CUR) using a PEG-modified RIPL peptide (IPLVVPLRRRRRRC)conjugated nanostructured lipid carrier (P/R-NLC) was constructed to exert synergistic anticancer effects against chemoresistant breast cancer as mentioned in this paper .
Co-administration of tariquidar using functionalized nanostructured lipid carriers overcomes resistance to docetaxel in multidrug resistant MCF7/ADR cells
Chang Hyun Kim,Taek Lee,Byoung Deok Kim,H. Kim,M. Lyu,Hyun Min Jung,Yoon Tae Goo,Myung Joo Kang,Sangkil Lee,Young Wook Choi +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , a combination of drug-loaded nanostructured lipid carriers (NLC) and RIPL peptide (P/R) was used to overcome multidrug resistance (MDR) and to enhance the efficacy of docetaxel (DTX).

Novel albumin-binding photodynamic agent EB-Ppa for targeted fluorescent imaging guided tumour photodynamic therapy
TL;DR: Li et al. as mentioned in this paper developed an organic small molecule-based photosensitizer, Evans Blue-Pyropheophorbide-alpha (EB-Ppa), to treat solid tumors with extremely high photodynamic therapeutic efficiency, which is stable in serum-containing aqueous media and can effectively accumulate in the tumor site due to the enhanced permeability and retention effect.
