TL;DR: In this article, a low-lying α-decaying isomeric state was found in 218U and the new state was assigned spin and parity Iπ=8+ The isomer decays by α emission with an energy E = 10678(17)keV and with a half-life T1/2 = (056+026-014)ms.

TL;DR: In this article, the lifetime of 188Pb was measured using the Koln plunger in combination with the RITU sepa-rator and JUROGAM, from which the deformation of the prolate band was experimentally determined.
