99mTc-tetrofosmin SPET in the detection of both primary breast cancer and axillary lymph node metastasis
Angela Spanu,G Dettori,Susanna Nuvoli,Alberto Porcu,Antonio Falchi,P Cottu,M.E. Solinas,Antonio Mario Scanu,Francesca Chessa,Giuseppe Madeddu +9 more
TL;DR: 99mTc-tetrofosmin SPET appears to be a reliable method for the detection of both primary breast cancer and axillary lymph node metastasis, and its diagnostic accuracy exceeds that of 99mTC-TetroFosmin planar scintimammography.

The role of 99mTc-tetrofosmin Pinhole-SPECT in breast cancer axillary lymph node staging
Angela Spanu,G Dettori,P. Chiaramida,P Cottu,Antonio Falchi,Alberto Porcu,M.E. Solinas,Susanna Nuvoli,Giordano Madeddu +8 more
TL;DR: Data suggest 99mTc-Tetrofosmin P-SPECT is a reliable imaging method both for staging and prognostic purposes in breast cancer, and its routine use is recommended.

The usefulness of 99mTc tetrofosmin scintigraphy in patients with breast cancer recurrences.
Angela Spanu,Antonio Farris,Orazio Schillaci,Francesca Chessa,M.E. Solinas,Antonio Falchi,Gr. Madeddu,Susanna Nuvoli,Giuseppe Madeddu +8 more
TL;DR: The data seem to suggest that 99mTc tetrofosmin SPET, but not planar, may be useful in the follow-up for the detection of loco-regional and distant recurrences in patients with breast cancer.

The usefulness of 99mTc-tetrofosmin SPECT in the detection of intrathoracic malignant lesions
Angela Spanu,Francesco Ginesu,Pietro Pirina,M.E. Solinas,Orazio Schillaci,Antonio Farris,Francesca Chessa,Giordano Madeddu,Pietro Marongiu,Antonio Falchi,Susanna Nuvoli,Giuseppe Madeddu +11 more
TL;DR: TF SPECT appears a highly accurate diagnostic method in the detection of intrathoracic malignant lesions, in lungs and pleura, as well as in NSCLC mediastinal lymph node staging and in monitoring treatment effectiveness, playing a complementary role to CT in selected cases.

Mediastinal Lymph Node Involvement in Non–Small Cell Lung Cancer: Evaluation with 99mTc-Tetrofosmin SPECT and Comparison with CT
Orazio Schillaci,Angela Spanu,Francesco Scopinaro,Francesco Monteleone,M.E. Solinas,P. Volpino,Pietro Pirina,Pietro Marongiu,V. Cangemi,Giuseppe Madeddu +9 more
TL;DR: Tc-Tetrofosmin SPECT is a useful presurgical noninvasive method to assess mediastinal lymph node involvement in NSCLC and could play a clinical role in reducing the number of invasive staging surgical procedures in selected patients, especially in those with enlarged lymph nodes at CT.
