Enhanced in-vivo platelet release reaction, increased thromboxane synthesis, and decreased prostacyclin release after tourniquet ischaemia
J Zahavi,J Westwick,S.F.A. Al-Hasani,M. Dubiel,Annabel Price,Michael F. Scully,A.C. Honey,Vijay V. Kakkar +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a marker of in-vivo platelet release reaction was measured in 27 meniscectomy patients, 10 patients who underwent total knee replacements (TKR) (both procedures performed under tourniquet ischaemia), and 10 herniorrhaphy patients.

Novel benzothiazole derivatives as multitargeted-directed ligands for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease
Donia E Hafez,M. Dubiel,Gabriella La Spada,Marco Catto,David Reiner-Link,Yu-Ting Syu,Mohammad Abdel-Halim,Tsong-Long Hwang,Holger Stark,Ashraf H. Abadi +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors describe new benzothiazole-based derivatives as a privileged scaffold for histamine H3 receptor ligands (H3R) and show that compound 3s can be a lead structure for developing new multi-targeting anti-AD agents.

BOPPY-based novel fluorescent dopamine D2 and D3 receptor ligands.
TL;DR: In this article , the authors used BOPPY labeling of D2R/D3R pharmacophores to obtain ligands with moderate to low nanomolar binding affinities as well as low to excellent quantum yields for bright fluorescence ligands.

Multitargeting Histamine H3 Receptor Ligands among Acetyl- and Propionyl-Phenoxyalkyl Derivatives
Dorota Łażewska,Maria Kaleta,Paula Zaręba,Justyna Godyń,M. Dubiel,Ewelina Honkisz-Orzechowska,Agata Doroz-Płonka,Anna Wieckowska,Holger Stark,Katarzyna Kieć-Kononowicz +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors designed new multitargetting ligands for Alzheimer's disease using acetyl- and propionyl-phenoxy-pentyl(-hexyl) derivatives.
