Enhanced quadrupole collectivity in doubly-magic 56Ni: Lifetime measurements of the 41+ and 61+ states
K. Arnswald,A. Blazhev,F. Nowacki,P. Petkov,P. Reiter,Thomas Braunroth,A. Dewald,M. Droste,C. Fransen,R. Hirsch,V. Karayonchev,L. Kaya,L. Lewandowski,C. Müller-Gatermann,M. Seidlitz,B. Siebeck,A. Vogt,D. Werner,K. O. Zell +18 more
TL;DR: In this paper, lifetime measurements of excited states in doubly-magic 56Ni have been performed exploiting the Doppler-shift attenuation method in order to determine reduced transition probabilities.

Lifetime measurements in Ti 44
K. Arnswald,P. Reiter,A. Blazhev,Thomas Braunroth,A. Dewald,M. Droste,C. Fransen,A. Goldkuhle,R. Hetzenegger,R. Hirsch,E. Hoemann,L. Kaya,L. Lewandowski,C. Müller-Gatermann,P. Petkov,D. Rosiak,M. Seidlitz,B. Siebeck,A. Vogt,D. Werner,K. Wolf,K. O. Zell +21 more
TL;DR: In this article, the lifetime of excited nuclear states was determined using the recoil distance Doppler-shift technique and the attenuation method, and the experimental results were compared with large-scale shell-model calculations employing established interactions in the $0f1p$ shell, as well as a modern effective Hamiltonian including multiparticle multihole cross-shell configurations.

Lifetime measurements of excited states in 55 Cr
H. Kleis,M. Seidlitz,A. Blazhev,L. Kaya,P. Reiter,K. Arnswald,A. Dewald,M. Droste,C. Fransen,O. Möller,O. Möller,Noritaka Shimizu,Yusuke Tsunoda,Yutaka Utsuno,Yutaka Utsuno,P. von Brentano,K. O. Zell +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, a Cologne plunger device surrounded by a ε-gamma-ray detector array was employed to determine lifetimes with the recoil-distance Doppler-shift method.
