TL;DR: In this paper, four new 3,5-disubstituted pyrazoles HpzR2 containing long-chain 4-n-alkyloxyphenyl substituents [R=C6H4OCnH2n+1; n=4 (1), 6 (2), 12 (5), 14 (6) and 14(6)] have been prepared and characterised, all of them showed mesomorphic behavior, the stability and the range of the mesophases increasing with the length of the chain on the pyrazole

Polymorphism and metal–metal interactions on [Rh(Cl)(CO)2(HpzR)] complexes
TL;DR: In this article, the influence of pyrazol substituents on the properties of the Rh(I) complexes has been analyzed. And two crystalline polymorphs (yellow and red) have been isolated for [Rh(Cl)(CO) 2 (Hpz dp )] (12 ) in contrast to the single red crystalline form isolated for the related complexes [Rh (Cl)( CO) 2 ) (R=hp, op; 10 and 11 ).

Liquid crystal behaviour of ionic allylpalladium complexes containing 2-pyrazolylpyridine as bidentate N,N'-ligand
TL;DR: Two types of Pd-complexes containing the new N,N′-ligands 2-[3-(4-alkyloxyphenyl)pyrazol-1-yl]pyridine (pzRpy; R = C6H4OCnH2n+1, n = 6 (hp), 10 (dp), 12 (ddp), 14 (tdp), 16 (hdp), 18 (odp)) (1−6) have been synthesised and characterised by different spectroscopic techniques as discussed by the authors.
