X-ray resonant scattering study of the structural and magnetic transitions in PrB 6
Helen Walker,K.A. McEwen,D. F. McMorrow,M. Bleckmann,J Park,Soo-Yong Lee,Fumitoshi Iga,D. Mannix +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, an extensive study of x-ray resonant scattering was performed to investigate both the lattice and magnetic properties, and a structural distortion associated with the incommensurate to commensurate magnetic phase transition at 4.5 was identified.

X-ray resonant scattering study of the structural and magnetic transitions in PrB6
Helen Walker,K.A. McEwen,D. F. McMorrow,M. Bleckmann,J.-G. Park,Soo-Yong Lee,Fumitoshi Iga,D. Mannix +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an extensive study of PrB6 using x-ray resonant scattering to investigate both the lattice and magnetic properties was made, and a structural distortion associated with the incommensurate to commensurate magnetic phase transition at T = 4.5 K was identified.

5 f delocalization-induced suppression of quadrupolar order in U(Pd 1 − x Pt x ) 3
Helen Walker,Helen Walker,Manh Duc Le,Manh Duc Le,K.A. McEwen,M. Bleckmann,Stefan Süllow,Claudio Mazzoli,Stuart Wilkins,Stuart Wilkins,D. Fort +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present bulk magnetic and transport measurements and x-ray resonant scattering measurements on U(Pd${}_{1\ensuremath{-}x}$Pt${}_x$)${}{3}$ for $x=0.005$ and $0.01$, which demonstrate the high sensitivity of the quadrupolar order in the canonical antiferroquadrupolar ordered system UPd{}_{3}$.
