Hepatic arterial infusion of oxaliplatin plus fluorouracil/leucovorin vs. sorafenib for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma
Ning Lyu,Yanan Kong,Luwen Mu,Youen Lin,Jibin Li,Yaru Liu,Zhenfeng Zhang,Lie Zheng,Haijing Deng,Shaolong Li,Qiankun Xie,Rong Ping Guo,Ming Shi,Li Xu,Xiuyu Cai,Peihong Wu,Ming Zhao +16 more
TL;DR: It was found that hepatic arterial infusion of FOLFOX therapy may improve both progression free and overall survival in patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma.

Dual Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor and Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor Inhibition Elicits Antitumor Immunity and Enhances Programmed Cell Death-1 Checkpoint Blockade in Hepatocellular Carcinoma.
Haijing Deng,Anna Kan,Ning Lyu,Luwen Mu,Yi Han,Longzhong Liu,Yanyu Zhang,Youfa Duan,Shuangye Liao,Shaolong Li,Qiankun Xie,Tianxiao Gao,Yanrong Li,Zhenfeng Zhang,Ming Zhao +14 more
TL;DR: Inhibition of vascular endothelial growth factor receptor and FGFR augmented the efficacy of anti-PD-1 antibodies and led to long-term immune memory formation, while synergistically modulating the TME and enhancing the cytotoxic effect of T cells.
FOXAI: a phase II trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of hepatic arterial infusion of oxaliplatin plus fluorouracil/leucovorin for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma.
Ning Lyu,Youen Lin,Yanan Kong,Zhenfeng Zhang,Longzhong Liu,Lie Zheng,Luwen Mu,Jianpeng Wang,Xishan Li,Tao Pan,Qiankun Xie,Yaru Liu,Ai-Hua Lin,Peihong Wu,Ming Zhao +14 more
TL;DR: Evidence from an individual patient data meta-analysis of phase III randomised controlled trial showed no improvement in overall survival attributable to sorafenib for HBV-related HCC, and more alternative strategies are highly required.

Effect of perioperative parecoxib sodium on postoperative pain control for transcatheter arterial chemoembolization for inoperable hepatocellular carcinoma: a prospective randomized trial
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the perioperative administration of parecoxib significantly improved its effectiveness in the control of postoperative pain after TACE and helps improve quality-of-life after T ACE for patients with inoperable hepatocellular carcinoma.

Mechanism and prognostic value of indoleamine 2,3‐dioxygenase 1 expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma
Shaolong Li,Xue Han,Ning Lyu,Qiankun Xie,Haijing Deng,Luwen Mu,Tao Pan,Xin Huang,Xia Wang,Yuanyuan Shi,Ming Zhao +10 more
TL;DR: Findings indicated that T‐IDO1 expression in HCC is common and is dominantly driven by the host antitumor immune response, which is a favorable prognostic factor in H CC.
