Chromosomal abnormalities and Y chromosome microdeletions in infertile men from Morocco
Yassine Naasse,Yassine Naasse,Hicham Charoute,Brahim El Houate,Chadli Elbekkay,Lunda Razoki,Abderrahim Malki,Abdelhamid Barakat,Hassan Rouba +8 more
TL;DR: These results highlighted the need for efficient molecular genetic testing in male infertility diagnosis and a genetic screening should be performed in infertile men before starting assisted reproductive treatments.
Chromosomal Abnormalities in Patients with Intellectual Disability: A 21-Year Retrospective Study.
Boutaina Belkady,Lamiae Elkhattabi,Zouhair Elkarhat,Latifa Zarouf,Lunda Razoki,Jamila Aboulfaraj,Sanaa Nassereddine,Rachida Cadi,Hassan Rouba,Abdelhamid Barakat +9 more
TL;DR: The high rate of chromosomal abnormalities found in the Moroccan patients studied demonstrates the capital importance of cytogenetic evaluation in patients who show ID or any clinical development abnormality.

Chromosome Abnormalities Related to Reproductive and Sexual Development Disorders: A 5-Year Retrospective Study.
Sara Benchikh,Amale Bousfiha,Lunda Razoki,Jamila Aboulfaraj,Latifa Zarouf,Chadli Elbakay,Lala Laila Rifai,Adil El Hamouchi,Sanaa Nassereddine +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the frequency of chromosomal aberrations in Moroccan subjects with problems of procreation or sexual ambiguity was evaluated using the standard karyotype method and found that 10.6% had chromosomal abnormalities mainly involved in the occurrence of recurrent miscarriages.
Cytogenetic profile of patients with clinical spectrum of ambiguous genitalia, amenorrhea, and Turner phenotype: A 21-year single-center experience.
Zouhair Elkarhat,Boutaina Belkady,Hicham Charoute,Latifa Zarouf,Lunda Razoki,Jamila Aboulfaraj,Sanaa Nassereddine,Chadli Elbakay,Boubker Nasser,Abdelhamid Barakat,Hassan Rouba +10 more
TL;DR: The frequency of chromosomal abnormalities observed in Moroccan patients with PA is comparable to that reported in Tunisia, Turkey, Iran, and Hong Kong, however, the frequency is significantly less than that identified in India, Malaysia, Italy, and Romania.

Chromosomal abnormalities in couples with recurrent spontaneous miscarriage: a 21-year retrospective study, a report of a novel insertion, and a literature review
Zouhair Elkarhat,Zineb Kindil,Latifa Zarouf,Lunda Razoki,Jamila Aboulfaraj,Chadli Elbakay,Sanaa Nassereddine,Boubker Nasser,Abdelhamid Barakat,Hassan Rouba +9 more
TL;DR: The data showed that the frequency of chromosomal abnormalities in Moroccan couples with RSM is 11.00%, and in regrouping the results with other studies, the frequency changes to 5.16%.
