Trilobatin, a Novel SGLT1/2 Inhibitor, Selectively Induces the Proliferation of Human Hepatoblastoma Cells.
TL;DR: Although trilobatin worked as a novel inhibitor of SGLTs to attenuate the uptake of glucose, it also selectively induced the cell proliferation of HepG2 cells, suggesting that not all the SGLT inhibitors inhibited the proliferation of tumor cells, and further studies are needed to assess the anti-cancer potentials of new glucose-lowering agents.

Multispectroscopic and synergistic antioxidant study on the combined binding of caffeic acid and (-)-epicatechin gallate to lysozyme.
He Liu,Dan-Yang Wang,Yongfang Ren,Lujing Wang,Tian-yu Weng,Jie Liu,Yushu Wu,Zhuang Ding,Ming Liu +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , the effects of the single and combined binding on the structure, activity and stability of lysozyme and the synergistic antioxidant activity of caffeic acid (CA) and/or (-)-epicatechin gallate (ECG) were also studied.

Trilobatin ameliorates insulin resistance through IRS-AKT-GLUT4 signaling pathway in C2C12 myotubes and ob/ob mice.
TL;DR: Administration with trilobatin for 4 weeks significantly improved insulin resistance by decreasing fasting blood glucose and insulin in serum, enhancing the phosphorylation of IRS1 and AKT, and recovering the expression and translocation of GLUT4 in ob/ob mice.
A pH-sensitive DNA tetrahedron for targeted release of anthracyclines: Binding properties investigation and cytotoxicity evaluation.
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors achieved pH-responsive and targeted anthracycline delivery using i-motif and MUC1 aptamer co-modified DNA tetrahedron (MUC1-TD).

Closing-upon-repair DNA tetrahedron nanoswitch for FRET imaging the repair activity of 8-oxoguanine DNA glycosylase in living cells.
Yushu Wu,Min Wu,Min Liu,Dan-Yang Wang,Lujing Wang,Tian-yu Weng,Jun Han +6 more
TL;DR: In this article , a closed-upon-repair DNA tetrahedron nanoswitch (CRTN) was designed for FRET imaging the repair activity of 8-OG DNA glycosylase in living cells with high specificity and accuracy.
