Tetraaminocyclopentadienone Iron Complexes as Hydrogenation Catalysts
TL;DR: In this article , a series of symmetric and asymmetric tetraaminocyclopentadienone iron tricarbonyl complexes were prepared from Fe(CO)5 and the diaminoacetylenes (DAA) R2NC≡CNR2 (NR2 = piperidinyl, 4-methylpiperidin, homopiperidyl) via intermediate ferracyclobutenone complexes.

Diaminoacetylenes: Synthesis and Coordination Chemistry
TL;DR: 1,2-Diaminoalkynes represent an electron rich and highly reactive class of alkynes, which have found comparatively little application in contrast to tamed derivatives such as DAAs.

Dimerisation of Dipiperidinoacetylene: Convenient Access to Tetraamino‐1,3‐Cyclobutadiene and Tetraamino‐1,2‐Cyclobutadiene Metal Complexes
TL;DR: The molecular structures of all compounds 2–7 were determined by X‐ray diffraction analyses, and density functional theory (DFT) calculations were carried out to rationalise the formation of 3 and 4 a.
