TL;DR: From 1990 to 2016, the prevalence rates of hepatitis B related cirrhosis and other chronic liver diseases showed an upward trend, particularly in males and in people aged 15 to 49 years old, in China, however, the disease burden of different provinces was unevenly distributed.
