TL;DR: In this article, a method for removing silver rust through a double-chamber microbial fuel cell is described, where a material rich in organic matter is loaded into an anode chamber, and water is added to submerge the material, in a cathode chamber a to-be-treated rusted silverware is wrapped with cathode carbon felt, a carbon cloth or a carbon brush is filled with active carbon particles and graphite particles.
