Wettability of a polymethylmethacrylate surface in the presence of benzyl-substituted alkyl betaines
Qun Zhang,Zhao-Hui Zhou,Song-Shuang Hu,Shu-Man Li,Ma Desheng,Xin-Yu Zhou,Lu Han,Lei Zhang,Lu Zhang,Lu Zhang +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the adsorption and wettability of benzyl substituted alkyl carboxyl betaine (BCB) and alkyls sulfobetaine (BSB) at polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) surfaces have been studied by contact angle measurements and the adhesion parameters such as adhesional tension, adhesion, work of adhesion and PMMA-liquid interfacial tension (γSL) have been calculated.

Study on the Synergistic Effects between Petroleum Sulfonate and a Nonionic–Anionic Surfactant for Enhanced Oil Recovery
TL;DR: In this article , a new type of nonionic-anionic-hydrophobic group structure surfactant N,N-dihydroxyethylalkylamide carboxylate (EAMC) was synthesized.
Effect of bivalent cations on the interfacial tensions of extended anionic surfactant solutions
Shuai Zhao,Zhao-Hui Zhou,Yang-nan Shangguan,Lu Han,Wang Lili,Wei Fan,Qun Zhang,Lei Zhang,Gui-Yang Ma,Lu Zhang +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of extended surfactant concentration, polypropylene oxide (PO) number, and various counter ions (Na+, Ca2+, and Mg2+) on the oil-water interfacial tension (IFT) were investigated in detail.
