Metabolic reprogramming in inflammatory microglia indicates a potential way of targeting inflammation in Alzheimer's disease
Moris Sangineto,Martina Ciarnelli,Tommaso Cassano,Antonio Radesco,Archana Moola,Vidyasagar Naik Bukke,Antonino Romano,Rosanna Villani,Hina Kanwal,Nazzareno Capitanio,Loren Duda,Carlo Avolio,Gaetano Serviddio +12 more
TL;DR: It is shown that by inhibiting succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) with dimethyl malonate (DMM), it is possible to modulate the LPS-induced metabolic rewiring, facilitating an anti-inflammatory phenotype, and SDH might represent a promising therapeutic target to prevent AD development.

A Novel Nutraceuticals Mixture Improves Liver Steatosis by Preventing Oxidative Stress and Mitochondrial Dysfunction in a NAFLD Model
Moris Sangineto,Vidyasagar Naik Bukke,Francesco Bellanti,Rosanna Tamborra,Archana Moola,Loren Duda,Rosanna Villani,Antonino Davide Romano,Gaetano Serviddio +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the potential beneficial effects of dietary supplementation with FLINAX, a novel mixture of nutraceuticals (i.e., vitamin E, vitamin D3, olive dry-extract, cinnamon dry extract and fish oil) in a NAFLD model characterized by oxidative stress and mitochondrial function impairment was explored.

Eosinophil-mast cell pattern of intraepithelial infiltration as a marker of severity in CRSwNP
Matteo Gelardi,Rossana Giancaspro,Loren Duda,Vitaliano Nicola Quaranta,Cristina Pizzulli,Eugenio Maiorano,F. M. Di Canio,Annamaria Ruzza,Lucia Iannuzzi,N. Quaranta,Francesca Parisi,Michele Cassano,Andrea Marzullo +12 more
TL;DR: Histopathological criteria of the eosinophil-MC form of CRSwNP in addition to the eOSinophilic one, should be defined to guarantee patients effective and tailored treatments.

Cutaneous metastasis as a primary presentation of a pulmonary enteric adenocarcinoma.
Annalisa Todisco,Valeria Internò,Luigia Stefania Stucci,Carmela Ostuni,Domenica Lovero,Stella D'Oronzo,Fabio Mele,Loren Duda,Raffaele Palmirotta,Franco Silvestris +9 more
TL;DR: An extensive molecular analysis on a rare case of PEAC with an unusual cutaneous metastasis suggests that a specific pattern of mutations is harbored in this neoplasm, and that additional molecular studies may provide further information to identify prognostic and hopefully predictive genes of response to treatment.

Doege-Potter syndrome by malignant solitary fibrous tumor of the liver: A case report and review of literature
Antonella Delvecchio,Loren Duda,Maria Conticchio,Felicia Fiore,Stefano Lafranceschina,Umberto Riccelli,Antonella Cristofano,Bianca Pascazio,Anna Colagrande,Leonardo Resta,Riccardo Memeo +10 more
TL;DR: The methodical long-term follow-up of surgically treated SFTLs is strongly recommended because of the high number of cases reported in literature and the low number of clinical trials undertaken.
