Safe use of liver grafts from hepatitis B surface antigen positive donors in liver transplantation.
Songfeng Yu,Jun Yu,Wei Zhang,Longyu Cheng,Yufu Ye,Lei Geng,Zhiyong Yu,Sheng Yan,Li-Hua Wu,Weilin Wang,Shusen Zheng +10 more
TL;DR: Utilization of HBsAg positive liver grafts seems not to increase postoperative morbidity and mortality, therefore it is a safe way to expand the donor pool when no suitable donor is available, and hepatitis B immunoglobulin should be abandoned in recipients of HB sAg positive Liver transplantation in whom HBV prophylaxis could be the only oral antiviral therapy.

LncRNA HOTAIR Contributes to Sorafenib Resistance through Suppressing miR-217 in Hepatic Carcinoma.
TL;DR: A knockdown of HOTAIR could improve the therapeutic effect of sorafenib on HCC via increasing E-cadherin and decreasing Vimentin expression and increase the sensitivity of sorAFenib for HCC treatment by up-regulating miR-217.
AntagomiR-199a Enhances the Liver Protective Effect of Hypoxia-Preconditioned BM-MSCs in a Rat Model of Reduced-Size Liver Transplantation.
TL;DR: AntagomiR-199a plus H-MSC not only significantly decreased ALT and AST 72 h after LT but also ameliorated the level of apoptosis and inhibited inflammatory reactions, and enhanced the protective effect of H- MSCs infusion via activation of the hypoxia induction factor 1α/VEGF axis.

Utilization of hepatitis B virus surface antigen positive grafts in liver transplantation: A matched study based on a national registry cohort
Songfeng Yu,Chao Cen,Xuanyu Zhang,Longyu Cheng,Weiliang Xia,Junjun Jia,Yufu Ye,Jun Yu,Min Zhang,Yang Shen,Shusen Zheng +10 more
TL;DR: This study aims to investigate the safety and efficacy of LT using HBsAg+ liver grafts and associated long‐term outcome using hepatitis B virus surface antigen positive donors.
