Exact-Two-Component Relativistic Multireference Second-Order Perturbation Theory.
TL;DR: In this article , a determinant-based Kramers-unrestricted exact-two-component multireference second-order perturbation (X2C-MRPT2) method was proposed to improve the description of ground and excited states.

Koralek,C. Y. Hampton,D. Cesar,J. Duris,Z. Zhang,N. Sudar,James P. Cryan,A. Marinelli,Xiaosong Li,Ludger Inhester,R. Santra,Linda Young +25 more
TL;DR: Attosecond-pump/attosecond-probe x-ray spectroscopy of liquid water demonstrates confined electronic response on the subfemtosecond timescale.

Relativistic Kramers-Unrestricted Exact-Two-Component Density Matrix Renormalization Group.
TL;DR: In this article , a variational relativistic density matrix renormalization group (DMRG) approach was developed for spin-orbit coupling in the exact-two-component (X2C) framework.

Defect-Induced Magnetic Skyrmion in a Two-Dimensional Chromium Triiodide Monolayer.
Ryan A. Beck,Lixin Lu,Peter V. Sushko,Xiaodong Xu,Xiaosong Li,Xiaosong Li +5 more
- 13 Jul 2021
TL;DR: This work demonstrates that spin-canted solutions can be induced into monolayer chromium iodide by select substitution of iodide atoms with isovalent impurities, and lays out the foundation for investigating the field- and geometric-dependent magnetic properties in similar two-dimensional materials.

Correlated Dirac-Coulomb-Breit multiconfigurational self-consistent-field methods.
Chad E. Hoyer,Lixin Lu,Hang Hu,Kirill Shumilov,Shichao Yi and Hongguang Sun,Stefan Knecht,Xiaosong Li +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a correlated Dirac-Coulomb-Breit multiconfigurational self-consistent field method was proposed for electron-electron interaction in complete active space and density matrix renormalization group.
