Precise pose and radius estimation of circular target based on binocular vision
TL;DR: In this article, a novel method of estimating circle pose and radius is proposed, based on binocular vision, which uses the special vectors that are irrelevant to the unknown radius to calculate the normal vector of the circular plane, which is the foundation for calculating the vanishing line of the circle plane in the imaging plane.

Precise hand–eye calibration method based on spatial distance and epipolar constraints
TL;DR: The proposed method introduces 3D constraints into the iterative optimization of X and takes 3D error as an evaluation indicator of the calibration quality, showing higher accuracy and stronger robustness than conventional methods.

- 18 May 2018
TL;DR: In this paper, a muti-constraint-based high-precision binocular camera calibration method was proposed, where the initial camera parameters were calculated through a Zhang zhengyou calibration method, and re-projection errors and polar line errors were calculated, and then according to feature point coordinates in left and right camera images and the binocular cameraparameters, three-dimensional feature points were rebuilt; 3D geometric errors formed by adjacent distance errors, collinear errors and right angle errors are calculated.

TL;DR: In this article, a mechanical arm hand-eye calibration method based on the spatial distance and epipolar line constraint was proposed, where the initial value of a handeye conversion matrix is solved, a conversion relationship of a camera fixed to a MAB when the MAB is at two different positions is obtained, epipolar lines errors of feature points in images are calculated through internal parameters of the camera, the feature points are subjected to three-dimensional reconstruction, the spatial distances between the reconstructed feature points is calculated, spatial distance errors are calculated according to the actual spatial distance, the cumulative

Newton's theorem-based method for detecting ellipses in shot object images
Duan Guifang,Liu Xia,Liu Zhenyu,Tan Jianrong +3 more
- 31 Jul 2018
TL;DR: In this article, a Newton's theorem-based method for detecting ellipses in shot object images is described, in which a pre-processing stage, invalid edge information is removed according to arc dimension constraints; edge gradient information is extracted, the slope of each edge point is calculated, and edges are divided into four categories according to the slope information; arcs which satisfy a condition of constituting an ellipse are aggregated according to relative positional relationships of endpoints and Newton's geometric constraints; the least squares method is directly adopted to estimate the parameters of arcs belonging to the
