The ferulic acid derivative has the very high activity of inhibiting growing of weeds and killing and removing the weeds, has certain inhibition effects on amaranthus retroflexus, barnyard grass, crab grass, green bristlegrass, oilseed rape and the like, can be widely applied to agricultural production, is a novel active ingredient of weed killers, and has the advantages that the preparation method is simple, the synthetic raw materials are easy to obtain, and the ferulic acid derivative is safe and environmentally friendly, does not make any harm to non-target crops and the like.
