Expression of Codon Optimized β2-Adrenergic Receptor in Sf9 Insect Cells for Multianalyte Detection of β-Agonist Residues in Pork.
TL;DR: β2-adrenergic receptor was expressed efficiently using Bac-to-Bac Baculovirus Expression System in Sf9 cells as a bio-recognition element for multianalyte screening of β-agonist residues in pork and showed better performance comparing with other present nonradioactive receptor-based assays.

Reduction of haemoglobin is related to metal mixtures exposure in Chinese preschoolers: Joint Effect Models
Ye Fu,Ming-yi He,Yang Liu,Mingzhu Li,Mei-qin Zhu,Yan Wang,Wei Li,Lili Yu,Liting Yang,Yao Zhang,Yanli Liu,Hongxian Ji,Hongcheng Ding,Jing Wang +13 more
TL;DR: This cross-sectional study of 1460 Chinese preschoolers found that exposure to multiple heavy metals, particularly uranium, thallium, and aluminium, is negatively associated with haemoglobin levels, suggesting a link between metal mixtures exposure and hematologic disorders.
