Investigation of the mechanism of the anti-cancer effects of Astragalus propinquus Schischkin and Pinellia pedatisecta Schott (A&P) on melanoma via network pharmacology and experimental verification
Fang Wang,Juan Bai,Feng Li,Jing Liu,Yanli Wang,Ning Li,Yaqi Wang,Jin Xu,Wanbao Liu,Liting Xu,Lin Chen +10 more
TL;DR: It is confirmed that A&P could inhibit melanoma cells proliferation and induce cells apoptosis through suppressing the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway by in vitro and in vivo xenograft model experiments, indicating that A &P may function as a useful therapy for melanoma through the PI2K-Akt pathway.

Metabolomics analysis of salvage chemotherapy on refractory acute myeloid leukemia patients
Zhi Zheng,Pingyi Liu,Liting Xu,Zhiqiang Peng,Yayue Zhang,Xinyi Chen,Li Hou,Wenhao Cui,Fangfang Tou,Jun Rao,Xing Fan +10 more
TL;DR: A well-established global metabolic profiling platform is employed to investigate the metabolic alterations associated with salvage chemotherapy on 10 refractory acute myeloid leukemia (RAML) patients, showing very subtle metabolic differences upon one-time chemotherapy treatment for an individual patient.
LRRC8A is responsible for exosome biogenesis and volume regulation in colon cancer cells.
Haiming Zhang,S. Cui,Rong Liu,Wen-bao Zhao,Liting Xu,Lei Yu,Yuan Wei,Liangming Li,Shuang Peng +8 more
TL;DR: The role of LRRC8A in the exosomes remains largely unknown as mentioned in this paper , however, it has been shown that LR8A was one of the compositions in exosome released from colon cancer HCT116 cells.

TL;DR: In this paper , the efficacy and safety of homoharringtonine-based induction regimens combined with all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA)-based maintenance therapy for Chinese childhood AML were evaluated.
Peiminine inhibits colorectal cancer cell proliferation by inducing apoptosis and autophagy and modulating key metabolic pathways
TL;DR: New insights are provided into the mechanisms by which peiminine modulates metabolic pathways to inhibit colorectal cancer cell growth, supporting further exploration of peim inine as a potential new strategy for treating coloreCTal cancer.
