Curcumin Induces ABCA1 Expression and Apolipoprotein A-I-Mediated Cholesterol Transmembrane in the Chronic Cerebral Hypoperfusion Aging Rats
TL;DR: It is concluded that curcumin has the ability to activate permissive LXR-β/RXR-α signaling and thereby modulate ABCA1 and apoA-I-mediated cholesterol transmembrane transportation, which is a new preventive and therapeutic strategy for cerevascular diseases.

Dynamic changes of Apo A1 mediated by LXR/RXR/ABCA1 pathway in brains of the aging rats with cerebral hypoperfusion
TL;DR: It is concluded that LXR-β/RXR-α/ABCA1 and downstream genes apo A1 undergo dynamic changes during the process of cerebral hypoperfusion, which may play a protective effect, and the effect only exists in a certain period of time.

Curcumin promotes cholesterol efflux from brain through LXR/RXR-ABCA1-apoA1 pathway in chronic cerebral hypoperfusion aging-rats
TL;DR: It is hypothesized that Curcumin may alleviate hypoperfusion through affecting cholesterol homeostasis by LXR/RXR-ABCA1-apoA1 pathway.
PBRM1 Deficiency Sensitizes Renal Cancer Cells to DNMT Inhibitor 5-Fluoro-2’-Deoxycytidine

TL;DR: A synthetic lethality compound screening found that a DNMT inhibitor 5-Fluoro-2’-deoxycytidine (Fdcyd) selectively inhibit PBRM1-deficient tumor growth and indicates thatDNMT inhibitor represents a novel strategy for treating ccRCC with P BRM1 loss-of-function mutations.

Neuroprotective efficacy of ABCA1 and HDL in aging rats with cerebrovascular hypoperfusion
TL;DR: The levels of serum HDL and TC increased at 2 weeks post-surgery compared with sham-operated group and the expression of ABCA1 reached to the peak at 3 weeks, and at 4 weeks, it began to decrease, it showed significant different compared withSham- operated group.
