Mitigating motion sickness in automated vehicles with vibration cue system
Daofei Li,Linhui Chen +1 more
TL;DR: In this article , a vibration cue system is proposed to inform passengers of the upcoming vehicle movement through tactile stimulation, by integrating the motion planning results from automated driving algorithms, the vibration cueing timing and patterns are optimised with the theory of motion anticipation.

Social-Aware Decision Algorithm for On-ramp Merging Based on Level-k Gaming
Daofei Li,Hao Pan,Yang Xiao,Bo Li,Linhui Chen,Houjian Li,Hao Lyu +6 more
- 20 Aug 2022
TL;DR: A social-aware hierarchical decision algorithm based on level-k game theory is proposed to adapt to dynamic interactive situations, the social value orientation of interacting drivers is estimated on-line, while the right of way and tentative merging attempts are further integrated to improve the social-awareness of the decision model.

MOSI APP - A Motion Cueing Application to Mitigate Car Sickness While Performing Non-driving Task
TL;DR: In this paper , a smart phone application is proposed to present the vehicle motion as a visual cue to reduce the conflict between the signals received by the passengers' visual processing system and those received by their vestibular system.

Glaucocalyxin A Inhibits the Malignancies of Gastric Cancer Cells by Downregulating MDM2 and RNF6 via MiR-3658 and the SMG1-UPF mRNA Decay Pathway
TL;DR: GLA has the therapeutic potential for GC by downregulating oncogenes via posttranscriptional regulation and the inhibitory effect of GLA on gastric cancer and the expression of MDM2 and RNF6 was also validated in in vivo study.

The influence of leader charge on current intensity and spectral characteristics of return strokes
TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the influence of leader charge on return stroke current intensity and spectral characteristics of return strokes in cloud-to-ground lightnings, and found that part of the neutralized leader charge is positively correlated with peak current, the radius of the core current-carrying channel and the total intensity of ionic lines in the spectrum.
