Optical properties of sedimentary dissolved organic matter in intertidal zones along the coast of China: Influence of anthropogenic activities.
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper collected sediment samples from 13 intertidal zones across 11 coastal provinces in China and analyzed optical properties and compositions of sedimentary dissolved organic matter (DOM), showing that the physico-chemical properties of sediment, such as pH and texture, affected the content of organic matter, thereby influencing the concentration of DOM indirectly.

TL;DR: In this article, a Land Use Regression (LUR) model has been applied to simulate pollutants' concentration successfully to predict winter mean PM2.5 concentrations in the Greater Bay Area, and five predictor variables were left in the final LUR model: BLH, V wind speed, percentage of forest area within the 4000m buffer, density of all roads within the 1500m buffer.

Individual and Interactive Effects of Socio-Ecological Factors on Dengue Fever at Fine Spatial Scale: A Geographical Detector-Based Analysis
TL;DR: This study suggests that some socio-ecological factors might either separately or jointly influence the spatial distribution of dengue fever in Guangzhou and the combination of high precipitation, high temperature, and high road density might result in increased d Dengue fever incidence.
