Zhengtu Li,Li Yinhu,Lingdan Chen,Shaoqiang Li,Le Yu,Airu Zhu,Feng Yang,Qian Jiang,Liyan Chen,Jincun Zhao,Wenju Lu,Nanshan Zhong,Feng Ye +12 more
TL;DR: This case has highlighted that false negative results could be present in the routine RT-PCR diagnosis, especially with virus variation, and Nanopore pathogen sequencing and antibody detection have been found effective in clinical diagnosis.
Longitudinal virological changes and underlying pathogenesis in hospitalized COVID-19 patients in Guangzhou, China.
Zhengtu Li,Yinhu Li,Ruilin Sun,Shaoqiang Li,Lingdan Chen,Zhan Yangqing,Mingzhou Xie,Jiasheng Yang,Yanqun Wang,Airu Zhu,Guoping Gu,Le Yu,Shuai Cheng Li,Liu Tingting,Zhaoming Chen,Wenhua Jian,Qian Jiang,Xiaofen Su,Weili Gu,Liyan Chen,Jing Cheng,Jincun Zhao,Wenju Lu,Jinping Zheng,Shiyue Li,Nanshan Zhong,Feng Ye +26 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors found that the average viral shedding time in severe/critical patients was more than 50 days, and up to 100 days in some patients, after symptom onset.
Origin and Reversion of Omicron Core Mutations in the Evolution of SARS-CoV-2 Genomes
TL;DR: In this article , the authors analyzed 6.7 million SARS-CoV-2 genomes to track the origin and evolution of Omicron variants and reveal the genetic pathways of the generation of core mutations in OmicRON.
Broad and durable antibody response after vaccination with inactivated SARS-CoV-2 in individuals with a history of 2003 SARS-CoV infection
Huan Liang,Peiyan Zheng,Qian Wang,Yijun Deng,D. Liang,Haisu Yi,Yuanyi Cheng,Xinwei Zhao,Jing Ma,Yidong Yang,Peiyu Hu,Pingqian Zheng,Yudi Zhang,Shuangshuang Huang,Xia Lin,Changwen Ke,Xuefeng Niu,Baoqing Sun,Lingdan Chen +18 more
TL;DR: Findings suggested a great possibility of developing a universal vaccine by heterologous vaccination using spike antigens from different SARS-related coronaviruses as well as neutralizing activities measured by authentic viruses and pseudoviruses.

Specific primer for novel coronary virus detection and rapid detection method
Feng Ye,Zhengtu Li,Le Yu,Lingdan Chen,Lu Wenju,Liu Tingting,Li Yinhu,Zhao Zhiqiang,Shaoqiang Li,Zhan Yangqing,Jing Cheng,Liyan Chen +11 more
- 30 Jun 2020
TL;DR: In this paper, a specific primer for novel coronary virus detection and a rapid detection method was disclosed. And the method comprises the following steps of inactivating a collected sample, and extracting virus RNA; carrying out inversion on virus RNA which is extracted in the step S1 and qualified through quality testing to perform cDNA synthesis.
