A novel rat model of heart failure induced by high methionine diet showing evidence of association between hyperhomocysteinemia and activation of NF-kappaB.
Bin Liu,Shengting Ma,Tao Wang,Chengjun Zhao,Yi Li,Jie Yin,Cuixia Liu,Chengzhi Gao,Ling Sun,Wenwei Yue,Huapeng Yu,Ruyi Jia +11 more
TL;DR: Evidence of positive relationship between hyperhomocysteinemia and activation of NF-κB in nuclear extract in HMD-induced heart failure is shown, showing it a new tool for translational medical research of metabolic disorders-related cardiovascular disease.

TGF‑β1 upregulates the expression of lncRNA‑ATB to promote atherosclerosis.
TL;DR: It was demonstrated that serum TGF-β1 and lncRNA-ATB expression was significantly higher in atherosclerosis patients, compared with controls, and could be used to effectively distinguish patients from healthy individuals, and may serve as a potential therapeutic target for Atherosclerosis.
Bloch surface plasmon enhanced blue emission from InGaN/GaN light-emitting diode structures with Al-coated GaN nanorods
Guogang Zhang,Zhe Zhuang,Xu Guo,Fang-Fang Ren,Fang-Fang Ren,Bin Liu,Haixiong Ge,Zili Xie,Ling Sun,Ting Zhi,Tao Tao,Yi Li,Youdou Zheng,Rong Zhang +13 more
TL;DR: InGaN/GaN light-emitting diode structures with Al-coated GaN nanorods were fabricated by using soft ultraviolet nanoimprint lithography, providing a progressive view on the effective energy transfer between MQWs and surface plasmons.
