Spiral growth in epitaxial YBa2Cu3O7−x thin films produced by high deposition rate chemical vapor deposition
L. Luo,Marilyn E. Hawley,Carl J. Maggiore,Robert C. Dye,Ross E. Muenchausen,Ling Chen,B. E. Schmidt,Alain E. Kaloyeros +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a chemical vapor deposition process with high growth rate (≳4 μm/h) was developed for the epitaxial growth of YBa2Cu3O7−x (YBCO) thin films.

High‐quality Y1Ba2Cu3O7−x thin films on polycrystalline MgO by temperature‐controlled chemical vapor deposition
Aiguo Feng,Ling Chen,Timothy W. Piazza,Hongwen Li,Alain E. Kaloyeros,Drew W. Hazelton,L. Luo,Robert C. Dye +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors showed that the best quality Y1Ba2Cu3O7−x superconducting thin films were achieved with a controlled ramping of the substrate temperature from 850 ˚°C, at the onset of deposition, down to 750 ǫ°C at the end of deposition.

On the effect of processing parameters in the chemical‐vapor deposition of YBa2Cu3O7−δ thin films on polycrystalline silver
Ling Chen,T. W. Piazza,B. E. Schmidt,J. E. Kelsey,Alain E. Kaloyeros,D. W. Hazelton,M. S. Walker,L. Luo,Robert C. Dye,Carl J. Maggiore,D. J. Wilkins,D. B. Knorr +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of selected processing parameters on the morphology and properties of YBa2Cu3O7−δ (YBCO) superconducting thin films grown directly on polycrystalline silver substrates by chemical-vapor deposition (CVD) were investigated through a set of experimental studies.

Vapor phase processing of HTS films for technological application
TL;DR: In this article, temperature-controlled chemical vapor deposition (TC-CVD) was used to grow YBa2Cu3O7−δ (YBCO) thin films directly on sapphire substrates.

High Tc conductors by MOCVD on silver substrates
TL;DR: In this article, temperature-controlled chemical vapor deposition (TC-CVD) processing was employed to grow highly c-axis oriented YBa2Cu3O7−x (YBCO) superconducting thin films directly on silver substrates.
