Band gap modulation of ZnCdO alloy thin films with different Cd contents grown by pulsed laser deposition
TL;DR: In this paper, a hexagonal wurtzite ZnO structure with a highly c-axis orientation without any Cd related phases from the XRD patterns was obtained and the band gap energy of ZnCdO films extending to 2.88 eV can be achieved by incorporating 9.6% Cd content.

Novel MoS2-modified AgVO3 composites with remarkably enhanced photocatalytic activity under visible-light irradiation
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported on the synthesis of novel MoS2-modified AgVO3 composites via a facile two-step method and investigated the effects of MoS 2 content on the structure and properties of AgVO 3.

ZnO/TiO 2 core–shell nanowire arrays for enhanced dye-sensitized solar cell efficiency
TL;DR: In this paper, a new method of synthesizing ZnO/TiO2 core-shell nanowire arrays for the fabrication of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) was presented.

Enhancement of p-type conduction in Ag-doped ZnO thin films via Mg alloying: The role of oxygen vacancy
TL;DR: In this article, a comparative study of p-type ZnO:Ag and ZnMgO-Ag films using photoluminescence and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurements was conducted.
