Microglia and astrocytes mediate synapse engulfment in a MER tyrosine kinase-dependent manner after traumatic brain injury
Hui Shen,Xiaojing Shi,Lin Qi,Zheng Wang,Muyassar Mamtilahun,Zhi Jun Zhang,Won-Suk Chung,Guo-Yuan Yang,Yaohui Tang +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors established a mouse model of traumatic brain injury and found that both microglia/macrophages and astrocytes phagocytosed synapses and expression of the MER proto-oncokinase increased 14 days after injury.

Cytidine-based supermolecular hydrogel and preparation method and application thereof
Pei Hao,Qian Tang,Qu Xiangmeng,Li Li,Lin Qi +4 more
- 26 Apr 2017
TL;DR: In this article, a supermolecular hydrogel and a preparation method for wound dressing is described, and the method comprises the steps that a cytidine solution, a silver nitrate solution and a boric acid solution which have the same concentration are prepared, mixed according to a certain volume ratio at room temperature and mixed to be uniform through quick and full oscillation, and after standing is conducted for several seconds, the super molesule is obtained.

Poly-cytosine-mediated nanotags for SERS detection of Hg2+
Lin Qi,Mingshu Xiao,Fei Wang,Lihua Wang,Wei Ji,Tiantian Man,Ali Aldalbahi,M. Naziruddin Khan,Govindasami Periyasami,Mostafizur Rahaman,Abdulaziz Alrohaili,Xiangmeng Qu,Hao Pei,Cheng Wang,Li Li +14 more
TL;DR: The polyC-mediated SERS nanotags show an excellent response for Hg2+ in the concentration range from 0.1 to 1000 nM and good selectivity over other metal ions and could serve as a promising sensor for practical use.
