Bacterially mediated drug delivery and therapeutics: strategies and advancements.
TL;DR: A review of the development and applications of this approach can be found in this paper , where strategies for genetically modifying strains are described in detail, along with their objectives, and some controlled strategies for drug delivery and release using these modified strains as carriers.

Macrophage-mediated tumor-targeted delivery of engineered Salmonella typhimurium VNP20009 in anti-PD1 therapy against melanoma
Leyan Wu,Lin Li,Shufeng Li,Lina Liu,Wenjie Xin,Chenyang Li,Xingpeng Yin,Xuebo Xu,Feifei Bao,Zi-Chun Hua +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a triple-combined immunotherapy was proposed for the delivery of Salmonella typhimurium VNP20009 in a melanoma mouse model, which significantly inhibited melanoma tumors by reactivating the tumor microenvironment by increasing immune cell infiltration and inhibiting tumor cell proliferation.

Self-management behaviors in adults with chronic hepatitis B: A structural equation model.
TL;DR: The findings indicated that social support, self-efficacy and disease knowledge directly or indirectly affected self-management behaviors in adults with chronic hepatitis B.

ORF3 of Hepatitis E Virus Inhibits the Expression of Proinflammatory Cytokines and Chemotactic Factors in LPS-Stimulated Human PMA-THP1 Cells by Inhibiting NF-κB Pathway
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that HEV ORF3 attenuated LPS-induced cytokine production and chemotactic factors, predominantly by inhibiting various PRRs-mediated NF-κB signaling pathways, to clarify the role and mechanism of macrophages in chronic HEV infection and cirrhosis.
