TL;DR: Long-term investigations of phytoplankton and hydrological variables in the Qinhuangdao sea area were conducted to understand the spatial-temporal variations of A. anophagefferens in relation to environmental factors and may provide more insights into the formation mechanisms of the brown tide in this region.
