Effect of cyclic hydrodynamic pressure-induced proliferation of human bladder smooth muscle through Ras-related C3 botulinum toxin substrate 1, mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 1/2 and extracellular regulated protein kinases 1/2
TL;DR: The role of Ras‐related C3 botulinum toxin substrate 1, mitogen‐activated protein kinase kinase1/2 and extracellular regulated protein kinases 1/2 in the cyclic hydrodynamic pressure‐induced proliferation of human bladder smooth muscle cells is examined.

Increased proliferation of human bladder smooth muscle cells is mediated by physiological cyclic stretch via the PI3K‑SGK1‑Kv1.3 pathway
Ye Tian,Xuan Yue,Deyi Luo,Romel Wazir,Jianzhong Wang,Tao Wu,Lin Chen,Bang-hua Liao,Kunjie Wang +8 more
TL;DR: Results markedly indicate that cyclic stretch induces the proliferation of HBSMCs and the PI3K‑SGK1‑Kv1.3 pathway is involved in this process, either fully or at least partially, rather than its related pathway, PI3 K‑Akt.
Skp2-mediated degradation of p27 regulates cell cycle progression in compressed human bladder smooth muscle cells
TL;DR: This is the first report on the functional importance of Skp2 in cyclic hydrodynamic pressure stimulated HBSMC proliferation and silencing abolished increases in cell proliferation induced by pressure.

Association of hsa-miR‑145 overexpression in human testicular cells with male infertility
Li-Yuan Zhang,Xianping Ding,Shuangshuang Nie,Jesse Li-Ling,Yu-Ping Zhang,Hui Zhang,Lin Chen,Lingxiao Li,Min Ding +8 more
TL;DR: The results revealed that altered hsa‑miR‑145 expression in testicular cells affects the regulation of target genes associated with male infertility.
