Targeting CPT1A-mediated fatty acid oxidation sensitizes nasopharyngeal carcinoma to radiation therapy
Zheqiong Tan,Lanbo Xiao,Lanbo Xiao,Min Tang,Min Tang,Fang Bai,Jiangjiang Li,Liling Li,Liling Li,Feng Shi,Feng Shi,Namei Li,Namei Li,Yueshuo Li,Yueshuo Li,Qianqian Du,Qianqian Du,Jingchen Lu,Jingchen Lu,Xinxian Weng,Xinxian Weng,Wei Yi,Wei Yi,Hanwen Zhang,Jia Fan,Jian Zhou,Qiang Gao,José N. Onuchic,Ann M. Bode,Xiangjian Luo,Xiangjian Luo,Ya Cao +31 more
TL;DR: FAO was active in radiation-resistant NPC cells, and the rate-limiting enzyme of FAO, carnitine palmitoyl transferase 1 A (CPT1A), was consistently up-regulated in these cells, where the protein level of CPT1A was significantly associated with poor overall survival of NPC patients following radiotherapy.

The new ‘coN’ staging system combining lymph node metastasis and tumour deposit provides a more accurate prognosis for TNM stage III colon cancer
Xiao Wang,Wei Chen,Xiaolin Dou,Fengbo Tan,Shipeng Yan,Zhongyi Zhou,Yuqiang Li,Biaoxiang Xu,Chongshun Liu,Heming Ge,Mengxiang Tian,Fang Liu,Liling Li,Sai Zhang,Qingling Li,Haiping Pei,Qian Pei +16 more
TL;DR: Not only the presence but also the number of TDs is associated with poor prognosis in stage III colon cancer, and a combined N staging system integrating LNM and TD provides more accurate prognostic prediction than the latest AJCC N staging in stage II colon cancer.

Characteristics of systematic lymph node dissection and influencing factors of sentinel lymph node biopsy using carbon nanoparticles in endometrial carcinoma: a single-center study
TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the characteristics of systematic lymph node dissection and sentinel lymph node biopsy mapped with Carbon Nanoparticles (CNPs) in endometrial carcinoma.
A Disintegrin and Metalloprotease 17 (ADAM17)-Modified Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cells (BMSCs) Enhance Drug-Resistant Cervical Cancer Development
Chun Zhou,Fengxia Chen,Liling Li +2 more
TL;DR: ADAM-17-modified BMSC enhances the growth of drug-resistant CC cell and tumor growth through EGFR/PI3K/Akt signaling pathway, which may contribute to a novel therapy for treating CC.

Wild-type IDH2 promotes the Warburg effect and tumor growth through HIF1α in lung cancer.
Jiangjiang Li,Ya He,Ya He,Zheqiong Tan,Zheqiong Tan,Jingchen Lu,Jingchen Lu,Liling Li,Liling Li,Xin Song,Feng Shi,Feng Shi,Longlong Xie,Longlong Xie,Shuo You,Xiangjian Luo,Xiangjian Luo,Namei Li,Namei Li,Yueshuo Li,Yueshuo Li,Xiaolan Liu,Xiaolan Liu,Min Tang,Min Tang,Xinxian Weng,Xinxian Weng,Wei Yi,Wei Yi,Jia Fan,Jian Zhou,Gao Qiang,Shuang Jian Qiu,Wei-Zhong Wu,Ann M. Bode,Ya Cao +35 more
TL;DR: It is reported that wild-type IDH2 is up-regulated and is an indicator of poor survival in lung cancer and several other cancers, and could possibly serve as a novel therapeutic target for lung cancer.
